During the filming process, we had to do several takes to get the proper idea. For example, for the bedroom scene, we spent almost an hour on. This is because, we wanted to get several angles. This way, when editing, we would have several switches. In this scene, we ended up having an over the shoulder shot, a two person shot from behind, and a closer over the shoulder shot. To set this up, we had a tripod and were able to leave the phone to record. For the shots that required us to hold it, our friend Scott would. He also helped me with my makeup for this scene and the other scenes prior. For my makeup, we took Hayley's older sisters eyeshadow palette and added colors such as blue, green, and black. This process took around ten minutes. We also did this before the hallway scene because the rest of the shots will have a black eye. However, as time went on, we slowly removed the makeup.
