Editing on Instagram got me further than most of the well known video editing apps. This is because I was familiar with the editing. I also did not have to pay to do a lot of the actions I wanted to do. Unlike what apps such as iMovie and Cap cut were making me do. In my opinion, adding the music was the easiest pat of using Instagram to edit. When doing it, there was a small music note at the top and when clicked, I got to add whichever song I wanted. I also got to choose what part of the song I wanted the video to show. I . decided to put the ending of the song when it begins to fade out due to two reasons. One: this part was appropriate for school. Meaning that there were no curse words or inappropriate sining but just Mac Miller vocalizing in the back. Two: it fit the vibe I wanted the video to have. By this I mean, it was upbeat and cheery rather than slow and dark. One of the trickiest parts about this process was putting the pictures at a correct time limit so it would change picture or video every time the beat would occur. This ended up takin me a while to perfect. This is because the beat in the song changes so frequently in the section I chose. However, I wanted the pictures to relatively be shown the same amount of screen time. Thus giving the viewers time to absorb and look at it. For the videos and the music, I had to make try and make it look like we were dancing on beat or chest bumping on beat. Which was tricky at first but finally I got it to the point I was content with.
