Production- The Start of Filming

After what felt like forever, my group and I finally got the chance to film. This process took us about three hours to do and we still have one more scene to film. To begin with, when school got out, we all walked to The Alchemist, a coffee shop near the school. To get there, we originally wanted to take an Uber. However, there were some issues and confusion. This is because the person kept getting lost and we were unaware of where to be picked up. After a while, we decided to just to walk to the coffee shop. This took about thirty minutes because the coffee shop is 1.1 miles. When we got there, we got right down to business and began to make our props. This video did not require too many props, so this process was very easy. Prior to this day, for example, I made the signs shown in the background and beginning of the video. This is because we wanted to make sure the audience knew exactly what we were doing and where we were. Thanks to the people at the coffee shop, we were able to make most of our props on sightAnother prop we made were the money bags shown in most of the scenes. To do this, we asked the workers for paper bags and tape. Then we drew money signs on the bags, stuff them with crumpled up paper, and taped them shut. We also taped dollar bills on the outside for extra detail. One thing I learned about the filming process this time around was that it is easier and less time consuming to film scenes out of order. This is because most of our scenes took place in the same area and only required some tweaks to differentiate the setting, such as the signs. When we were done with this area, we went to film the bank scene where all the art portraits are. Overall, my group and I did not have trouble communicating with each other and compromising. This is why I believe we had the best outcome possible.
