Title Design

  • The opening credits of our film will be in the "Viner Hand ITC" font and all would slowly fade in and out of the screen in coordinating corners every 2 to 3 seconds. 
  • These will all be typed. 
  • Depending on what is on the screen, these titles would either be black or white so the audience would be able to see it. 
  • The title of our film will appear in the "Chiller" font that would be seen to be "typed" into the center of the screen. 
  • The title would be "AN EYE FOR AN EYE" in all capital letters and in bold. 
  • The color would also be in dark red. The Chiller in dark red coloring for the title will help show and exude the creepiness of the thriller film.
  • The final title will appear at the end of the trailer and then the screen will go black to represent the ending.

  When researching and analyzing the different music videos in relation to our genre of music there are various convections that stood out. As mentioned the song all of us came up with to use for this project is Getaway car by Taylor Swift. And the genre is pop/singer-songwriter. In which music videos from songs such as Drivers license and Vampire by Olivia Rodrigo. Give us a good insight into how in that category the specific usages of breaking the forth wall in the music videos. Using A LOT of tracking and over the shoulder shots as well. In this specific genre of music we need to be drawn to the artist or what the artist is explaining the emotions of. Almost if not every lyric should be able to match part of the song, to get the visual representation.           When beginning this process of creating the music video, the immediate thought was to do a song by Taylor Swift. This is because all of us  enjoy her music and believe she would be the perfect match considering the wide spectrum of genres her music has. The song Getaway Car immediately came into someones mind and we all agreed that it would be perfect. Since the song is very upbeat, catchy and semi-popular, we figured that it would be easy to portray the storyline in our own way for this assignment. When finding the section of the song we would want to use, the decision came down to two options. Finally, however, we all agreed to one and began to picture what we wanted to do. The first thought that came to mind was to act out specifically what was being said in the song. Meaning we would need props such as a phone, fake money, keys, and a bag. Production- Difficulties

       Like said before, my group and I have had a difficult time choosing a date to film. This is because all of us are busy. For example, when one of us is in town the others are out. As well as when one of us is out, everyone is in. So, it can be said that this first step to production is giving everyone in the group a difficult time. However, despite these issues, we are still trying to find the perfect date to film. Another issue that popped up in our group is that our group member with a car and license, had her car break down a week prior to our set production day. This was an issue because the title of the song is "Getaway Car." Meaning, that we needed a car as our main prop to show the full story in the song. But, we are still trying to improvise and figure out how to fix these topics. For production, we also needed several props.
