Production Blog

This past Friday, Hayley, Scott, and I got together and began the filming process. We all knew that there would not be enough time to film the whole thing. Especially since we wanted it to be perfect and get all the proper angles. Another reason for splitting up the filming sessions was because we wanted to do some of the scenes at my house, or in a different location. So, Hayley and I sat down and discussed what we would like to get done this day. We both agreed that we should get the bedroom scene done, as well as some of the murder scenes. To do this, I brought several clothes in my backpack to school and sorted it when we got to her house. In the end, we filmed the bedroom scene, Penelope Smith's murder, and Nicole Wilson's murder. We also started on Aaron Nelson's murder, but I had to leave while we were doing it. Other scenes, such as Matt Brown's scene where Hayley has to get pushed into the pool have been postponed due to the cold weather recently. The bulletin board scene was also postponed because Hayley believed she had a bulletin board but could not find it. However, we are planning on meeting again soon to finish the rest of the murder scenes, as well as the opening scene. This includes the school scene, where we are planning to film at my apartment. Since, we cannot film at school, we figured that this location would look the most accurate. For the pool scene, we plan to go back to Hayley's. This is because the pool at my apartment is under construction. Going back to Hayley's would also make it easier to film the car scene. This is because she lives in a gated community and has her car there. She will be the one driving, so having her car near will be convenient. As of right now, we are on track with filming and editing.
